Is it seriously already May Long?! Time’s flying like it’s got somewhere better to be. What’s everyone getting up to—camping? Road trips? Hiding from relatives?

I’m heading up to Mum and Dad’s for the weekend—rez life, baby. A whole lot of bbqing, fireside storytelling, and letting the land remind me to slow the hell down. Out there, the Wi-Fi’s weak but the connection’s strong, if you know what I mean.

And in other high-stakes regional drama… it’s playoff season, and my blood pressure is hanging on by a thread. Last game went into OT at 0-0 before the Oilers finally pulled off a 1-0 win. My nerves? Shredded. My voice? Gone. My loyalty? Unwavering.

May Long weekend demands a playlist—it’s basically a survival kit essential. For as long as I can remember, music’s been the backbone of every firepit confession, tailgate dance-off, and late-night lake hangout. And me? I like a little bit of everything, because during May Long, the vibe shifts faster than the weather. Anything goes—just hit play and let the chaos unfold.
