Guess what - I'm almost certain that I had an Irish connection in a past life. It's the only explanation for my strong fascination with everything Irish. And let's not forget, my name totally gives off Irish vibes! Shauna (Irish: Seána) is like the Irish cousin of the cool dudes Shawn or Sean, which are basically just fancy versions of John. I mean, who knew names could have such a wild family tree, right? 🌳😄

Guess what? Ireland and I are in a serious relationship! I couldn't stay away, so I came back for more fun almost exactly a year later. Ireland is such a heart thief! On my second visit to the magical emerald isle, I decided to ditch the city life and go on an adventure. This time, I went off the beaten path to discover charming little seaside towns on the East coast. Ireland, you never fail to surprise me!

Pit stop in Dublin... AGAIN! 🤗

Bray, County Wicklow

Prepare yourself for a whimsical adventure in this charming seaside village, where cafes and restaurants dance around every corner! And let's not forget the legendary Bray to Greystones cliff walk - the main attraction that lured me to this picturesque coastal gem!

So, picture this: I stumbled upon this town that was so cute, it made me want to break out into a happy dance. I decided to embrace the chill vibes and then I got a burst of energy and took on the Bray to Greystones cliff walk. It was a morning full of adventure, but man, was it worth it! The views were breathtaking and let's just say my legs got a workout they didn't know they needed!

Wexford, County Wexford

Easy to find inner peace in this charming Irish town!

"We are Wexford, true and free. We are of a story yet untold. We are the people, of the purple and gold." - Michael Fortune

When I hopped off the choo-choo, I instantly sensed Wexford's vibe - chill, laid-back, and not trying too hard. It was like a breath of fresh air: simple charm and friendly faces all around.

Final thoughts...

Oh boy, Ireland has definitely stolen a piece of my heart, and it's not giving it back! I'm already planning my next escape because, let's be real, there's a whole lot more mischief to get up to over there. My time there was an absolute blast - pure fun and relaxation! If you're craving an adventure away from the usual tourist traps, mark my words, these adorable coastal towns are the real deal. Sláinte to that!
